As the uncertainties of this moment and current state of things unfold, we, the SBC family, are challenged to channel our desire, hunger and frustrations to the Lord God who has prepared for us a city to dwell in that will not pass away. He has always promised to dwell with us, let us embrace him and stick with God especially at this hard time. Hebrews 11:16 reminds us of the promise of a better country and let us not be consumed and controlled by earthly hope, even beyond the present circumstance. God gives us daily perspective on our lives that we might know what things are most important at any time.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD has not forsaken them that seek thee. Psalm 9:10

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Both verses called our attention to how we must trust in the Lord and with all our hearts without doubt and continually being dependent for our daily understanding of his words.

Let us disentangle our minds from cares of this world and keep our focus committedly on our heavenly home.

...cheers, stay safe!
