Jesus is the greatest figure in history. His arrival on the scene meant that man had an opportunity to see God in the flesh; living and breathing in their midst. The time that Jesus spent here on earth was full of surprises to those that watched Him, especially the religious leaders of the day. We see mercy stooping down and meeting mankind at his point of need. We see mercy stooping down and pointing to the reality of the accusers. We see mercy stooping down and making new the condition of the guilty.
