Nehemiah 1:1-4, 4:6, 6:15, 7:1

Perhaps what’s more important to recognise about vision is that it needs to come to completion. Often “vision” is like a good intention, you have every good intention to do it, but it doesn’t get done. Vision is important in casting our minds onto what is most needful for the time at hand. Vision drives us forward to what could be and helps us look beyond what is. Nehemiah was in this situation. He was faced with the unenviable task of rebuilding something for the Lord that had been broken down.
