New beginnings are an opportune time to take in what is before you and line up what is required to get to your desired end. In our text, God is doing this for His people as they are at the very cusp of their own new beginning: possessing the Promised Land. Here we see that God gives them a charge to be all in and it’s a charge we can take also as we face the beginning of a brand new year.
