Acts 11:19-26, 13:1-4, 14:26-28

Antioch of Syria was a place where the Gospel truly blossomed. It was the place in which Christians were so named first. There was so much of Christ in those Gentile converts that they were known as little Christ’s. This was the foundation of what would be a great missionary endeavour. This church, made up of mainly Gentiles would become a mighty sending station wherewith the Gospel was mightily proclaimed into the regions beyond. I believe that the development of missions within this church was one that we could term “all in” In saying this, we must examine Antioch through the lens of Scripture and then evaluate where we are as individuals and as a church.
