What’s interesting about Gideon is that although he was a mighty and valiant man, he took the time to clarify his steps forward from the Lord. Even though he was one that was experienced in matters that God was calling him to action, he had the attitude that God was the one that needed to show him the way forward rather than his own experience. What we will see is a good pattern for us, as we seek to find God’s will.
