Our Problem

We are all sinful and separated from God.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death.

The Bible teaches us that every man has a sinful nature, and we have all broken the laws of God. Whether we intended to or not, we have all sinned. Sin separates us from God, and even our good deeds, morality or religious practices cannot wash our sins away.

People today think there are many different ways to get to Heaven when they die, but the Bible tells a different story.

1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners…

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

God’s Answer: Jesus Christ!

God’s answer to our sin problem is Jesus Christ! Jesus died on the cross, he was buried and rose again three days later as the payment for our sin. He has become the ONLY bridge between God and mankind.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Now what must you do?

You must accept the truth of what Jesus said in order to be forgiven of your sin:

Repentance

Mark 1:15 …repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Faith

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

If you do not accept the forgiveness that Jesus Christ offers, you will face eternal judgment for your sin in the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

What should I do to be forgiven of my sin?

1. Admit you are a sinner in need of forgiveness

2. Repent and trust Jesus Christ, believing that he died, was buried and rose again from the dead

3. Call on the name of the Lord receiving Jesus as your Saviour (Romans 10:13)

The following short prayer may help you to make a definite act of commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.

“God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I need your mercy and forgiveness. I believe the truth about Jesus Christ: He died and shed his blood for my sins, he was buried, and rose again. By faith, I put my trust in Jesus Christ alone to forgive my sin. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you made the decision to enter into a relationship with God, you just made the best decision of your life! He will never leave you or forsake you, and you are secure in your relationship with Him.
